Presented the Okada Health and Wellness Program at The Society for Integrative Medicine Japan Convention

At the 24th annual convention of The Society for Integrative Medicine Japan, four MOA officials made presentations on their research with “Happiness of Integrative Medicine – from AI to Spirituality” as the theme. With the spread of the new coronavirus infection, it was held online—various lectures and seminars were delivered live on December 12 and 13, symposiums such as spirituality and integrative medicine from December 12 to 27, and PDF slides of research presentations were available on demand. (Chairman Kaoru Sakatani, Professor of the University of Tokyo, Graduate School of Frontier Sciences, Human Environmental Studies Department)
MOA-related presentations were made in PDF viewing format, and four research presentations were adopted. Hiroshi Katamura, Director of the MOA New Takanawa Clinic, presented the “Preliminary Study in a Self-Controlled Double-Blind Study on the Effect of Okada Purifying Therapy.” The stiffness of 21 healthy adults who receive Purifying Therapy on a daily basis, in contract to the administration of 30 minutes of Purifying Therapy per day and a day without administration of Purifying Therapy, was measured with a muscle hardness tester and skin conductivity, etc. Only the therapist of Purifying Therapy knows the presence or absence of the administration of Purifying Therapy. As a result of measurement in a state that the subject and the measurer do not know, stiffness is significantly improved with the administration of actual Purifying Therapy, and stiffness without the administration of Purifying Therapy reported no difference in stiffness.
Kenichi Esoe, a nurse of Korinkai Kagoshima Clinic, reported on “Okada Purifying Therapy on T cell Immunity.” Subjects were healthy people who do not receive administration of Purifying Therapy on a daily basis, but received 60 minutes of Purifying Therapy daily for 3 months. The immunosuppressive immunity PD-1, QOL questionnaire MQL-10, spirituality were completed. As a result of measuring the 20-item version of the SKY mentality scale for spirituality evaluation, 6 out of 12 patients, who were immunosuppressed by blood sampling before the start of the study, were immune-activated, and six did not improve. In addition, 16 out of 25 people, who showed a tendency toward hyper immunity, reported that they tended to normalize. Esoe reported that more than 80% of the people, who did not improve, had deterioration in their mental condition. Since they are under a stressed state, in addition to the daily administration of Purifying Therapy based on the Okada Health and Wellness Program, they may obtain positive improvement of their health through altering their eating habits that have a stress-reducing effect, as well as working on their spirituality.
In addition, Seiya Uchida, a senior researcher at the MOA Health Science Foundation, made a presentation on “the evaluation of various health methods using shoulder muscle hardness measurement.”President Kiyoshi Suzuki of the MOA Health Science Foundation, reported on the “Efficacy and Safety of Okada Purifying Therapy” published in the American magazine “JACM (Journal of Alternative and Complementary Medicine),” which is world-renowned in the field of integrative medicine and “International Survey.” President Suzuki also chaired the symposium “Forefront of Health Classes.”

As the theme suggests, this academic conference was part of the community enrichment as an integrated medical social model for the aging society utilizing AI and robot technology, and reports on housing projects. Takeshi Okada, former coach of a Japan soccer team, gave a lecture on “Soccer and Community Enrichment.” Another symposium on “COVID-19 and Integrative Medicine” was held to discuss religion, medicine, spirituality, etc. under the theme of “Toward a Happy End of Life,” which was very suggestive. There was a lot of feedback on the content.
