[Uterine fibroids found]

Since around 2003, I have had discomfort in my lower abdomen. It felt like there was something like a protrusion. I consulted with Dr. L, my obstetrician-gynecologist, and found out that I had uterine fibroids. The myoma itself was small. Dr. L recommended that I take medication, and I started to take the prescribed medicine.
In October 2005, I got married to my husband, who I had been dating for a long time. After that, I safely gave birth to my daughter. My discomfort from the uterine fibroids also seemed to have improved.
However, from around December 2007, I began to feel uncomfortable around my lower abdomen again. Depending on the day, I had mild pain. I felt that there were some big protrusions, so I asked Dr. L to examine me.
As a result of the medical examination, two uterine fibroids about 2 cm in size had formed next to each other on the left side of the uterus. Dr. L told me that they might develop as cancer. If that happened, it will be difficult for me to have children in the future, so Dr. L recommended that surgery be performed early.
It may be an exaggeration to say this, but when I heard the diagnosis, I was conscious of my “death” for the first time. It’s been two years since I got married, and my child was growing up quickly and I was building a happy family. However, I felt like it was collapsing all at once.
Although Dr. L said, “Your surgery should be a simple one,” I was very anxious because I had no experience in having surgery. My lower abdomen became more uncomfortable and painful. I had no appetite. I couldn’t get enough sleep. I was under stress, and I lost 4 kg in a week.

[Practicing the Okada Health and Wellness Program centered on Purifying Therapy]

Early January 2008, my husband and Dr. L talked about future treatments. My husband and I said, “I would like to see the situation for a while with the Okada Health and Wellness Program centered on Purifying Therapy.” Dr. L, who has participated in the health promotion seminar held by the MOA Peru Wellness Center, had an understanding of integrative medicine as well as the Okada Health and Wellness Program, so Dr. L allowed me to continue to take medication for a while and watch the situation.
After that, I received Purifying Therapy from my husband for more than 2 hours every day. Also, my husband was worried about my lack of appetite and made vegetable juice every day using ingredients cultivated by the Nature Farming method.
When I went to the MOA Peru Wellness Center and consulted with a registered dietitian, it was pointed out that my daily diet was too biased toward meat and grains. I then began doing my best to switch to a diet centered on vegetables cultivated by the Nature Farming method as much as possible.
Due to my situation, my sister and relatives cooperated with me. Thus, I was able to manage to raise my daughter, who is 1 year and 8 months old.
I was able to intensively practice the Okada Health and Wellness Program, especially Purifying Therapy and the Healthy Food Program, I was able to alleviate my discomfort, pain, anxiety and stress in my lower abdomen.

[Uterine fibroids disappeared]

Around the evening of January 25, 2008, a week after my continuous care from the Purifying Therapy, Healthy Food Program, and medication prescribed by my doctor, my lower abdomen suddenly hurt and I rushed into the bathroom. Then, when I lightly pressed the area around my lower abdomen with my hand, something like a lump of blood and meat was excreted at once.
I was so surprised that I went to the hospital and had Dr. L examine me. Echo and CT scans showed that the uterine fibroids had disappeared. Dr. L was very surprised and said, “At first, your husband told me that he wanted to see the situation for a while, but I thought that surgery would be necessary.” Dr. L also said, “I participated in the health promotion seminar held at the Peru Wellness Center twice so far. At the time, I received explanations on integrative medicine and the Okada Health and Wellness Program. I also experienced them. However, I did not think that the effect is so great. With this experience, I should be humble and study integrative medicine and the Okada Health and Wellness Program which are promoted by MOA.”

[Change of life]

This was also an opportunity to look back on my life.
I haven’t had any major illnesses until now, and I was rather careless about uterine fibroids in 2003 because I didn’t have any trouble in my daily life just by taking the medicine. However, when I found uterine fibroids and was told that surgery was necessary, I thought about “life” seriously. I realized how grateful I was to be able to lead a healthy daily life.
In addition, my husband, sisters, relatives, friends, etc. really were kind and helped me a lot. I used to think that I could do anything by myself. However, in reality it wasn’t so. I realized that I was living with the support of various people around me. For the first time I had an unprecedented gratitude for others.
It’s been about four years since I became a member of MOA. I realize how wonderful it is because of the improvements I experienced through the Okada Health and Wellness Program, especially the Purifying Therapy and Healthy Food Program. I also understand how important daily continuous practice is. I discussed this matter with my husband. We have decided to practice as much as possible for our health and for our daughter’s developments.
From now on, I wish to serve for the happiness of others, and do my best to contribute to the betterment of society.
