The sensibilities to nourish in extraordinary life and the sensibilities to nourish in daily life

── What can we do in our daily life other than have a special experience like manufacturing?
Speaking of creation, the paintings and calligraphy that we are working on at the MOA Museum of Art Children’s Art Exhibition are familiar to everyone. Also, I think it’s wonderful to enjoy watching and listening to fine arts, plays, movies, and music.
To enjoy art is not studying, so if one forgets it later or it did not suit him, its fine. As one repeatedly tries artwork, one will gradually find out that he likes these things and that he feels relieved. Through association with art, one can create his own value standard.
Even if one looks at the same work of art at the same museum, the feeling may be very different depending on the age, feelings at that time, environment, and so on. He will find out that the artwork did not change, so something has changed within him. I recommend people to have few works of art he can visit and observe from time to time to find changes in himself.

── Is it difficult to polish people’s sensibilities unless we consciously make something or go somewhere?
Rather, it is the unconscious acts that are accumulated every day, even if they are small, that create the person’s sensibilities. I think the best is food. If you make your daily mealtime fun and rich, your sensibilities will be refined without your knowledge.
By all means, I would like people to try using one non-mass-produced vessel made of natural materials such as lacquerware and ceramics. Some may say it doesn’t matter what I eat with since this is my home. However, if people create a little tension (by using fine art utensils), I feel that one’s life will become more colorful.
Just as people change what they wear depending on their mood and place, why not change the food utensils according to the occasion, mood, cooking, and season of the day. I would like people to fully enjoy the mealtime that nourishes their sensibilities while tasting various textures on their skin.
If one consciously makes such time even if it is 10 minutes a day, he will feel the positive flow of time in his life.
